The Corpse Flower

Sir David Attenbrough, famous english botanist and radio host, stated the corpse flower is "THE GREATEST SUPERSTAR OF THE BOTANICAL WORLD."
The corpse flower is considered to be the largest blooming flower in the world. It could reach 6-8 feet in height with good cultural conditions
This gigantic plant, Amorphophallus titanum (commonly known as "titan arum"), is a true wonder of Nature. The reknown of the titan arum comes from its great size - it is reputed to have the largest known non-branched inflorescence ("flower structure").
The plant is native only to the tropical rainforests of Sumatra, Indonesia. The titan arum emerges from, and stores energy in, a huge underground stem called a "corm."
CARE & GROWING INSTRUCTIONS, based on the experience of Wilbert Hetterscheid gathered over 10 years of cultivating the Amorphophallus species, may be found here.
