Imported from Brazil, these Coco Husk Fiber Plaques provide one of the best orchid mounting mediums we have used. Very neat, attractive and clean. Holds just the right amount of moisture. Orchid roots systems grow vigorously around the Coco Husk Plaques and seem to enjoy the texture of the coco fibers.

The plaques are mostly used to mount orchid plants as well as bromeliads and staghorn ferns.

Virgin Cork Bark

Beautiful Premium Virgin Cork Bark is great for mounting orchids or any plant that needs epiphytic like conditions. This is a natural product so each piece is unique. Each piece is approximately 1”-2" thick and has a rough natural texture. Makes a great display at orchid shows.

Wooden Slabs of Cypress Bark offer a rustic look. Decay resistant wooden slabs provide a natural looking support for climbing ornamentals and epiphites such as Masdevallia, Aerangis, Oncidium, Doritaenopsis, Epidendrum.

Decorative, environmental friendly climbing cypress for your orchids. As noted in the March 2005 issue of Orchids Magazine wood slabs, especially cypress, can make a perfect home for your orchids and make a natural support for plant and root growth. We use a small piece of moist Sphagnum Moss between the cypress and the orchid roots. This acts as a reserve for moisture especially under drier growing conditions. You should mist recently mounted plants until new roots extend several inches. You should use SUPERthrive when misting mounted plants for healthier growth.
